In recent years I've gone over to working by computer, which suits my Cut-out technique very well. Mostly I've been working on various children's television programs, such as BBC's Watch  Art or Ch4's Rat-a-Tat-Tat and Number  Crew.
        Working by computer means, in theory, that I can work anywhere, and so I've rashly moved to Cornwall, and for the last six months I've been working for Open Mind Productions from there and we have just finished forty episodes of Maths Mansion, an educational series for Channel Four.
       Working at a distance with Megan Thomas, my director, at Open Mind was no problem at all. For quality control, I’ve been using this website (via the Safe) on a daily basis, to upload stills and movies of work in progress. The finished work is being sent on CD or DVD, by snail mail, which is still faster than waiting for the Labs in the bad old days.

  WHAT DO I CHARGE?
     My rock bottom price is (UK) £2000 per minute, (Currency Convert) Depending a guesstimate of how long the work will take ~ for delivery as AVID or Quicktime files on CD. Not including editing, sound recording or video transfers. (I can get this done for you, but will have to charge extra)
I'm not sure what to charge for Moving GIFs and Flash movies for websites, but a lot less than for real animation
